July 15 - Columbia County Landowners Coalition Group Meeting
Our next group meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Benton High School Auditorium. We will be holding one meeting the night of July 15th. The following meeting time is 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

PLEASE NOTE !!! the meeting for Tuesday, May 25th has been canceled. There will be no meeting at the Benton High School. The meeting will be rescheduled in June.
- May 25, 2010 - The next Columbia County Land Owners Coalition meeting at the Benton High School will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010
The coalition will hold two meetings.
The first from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm for Luzerne County except Ross Township and Columbia County below Routes 254 and 239.
The second from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm for Ross Township and Columbia County above Routes 254 and 239.

State Representatives Karen Boback, Garth Everett, and David Millard will participate in these meetings and address issues regarding drilling the Marcellus shale. The meeting times will be broken up by region as follows:
6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. – Fairmount/Luzerne.
7:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Ross and Columbia above Routes 254 and 239.
8:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. – Columbia below Routes 254 and 239.

Unless something big happens and we need an emergency meeting the next SWRTPG meeting at Sweet Valley will probably be sometime after the January CCLOC meetings. So please plan on attending the next CCLOC meeting at the Benton High School which is scheduled for Tuesday, January 12th. It will be two sessions. The Columbia County meeting is from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. And the Luzerne County meeting time is 7:45pm to 8:30 pm. If snow is predicted we will fall back to another meeting date in January. Meeting Times are as follows:
The Columbia County Land Owners Coalition is having an important, members only up-date meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 6:30 pm at the Benton high School. This will be a split meeting with no exceptions to the time slot for county you belong to;
Columbia County 6:30-7:45 pm
Luzerne County 8:15-9:30 pm
For people that live outside the area or those that cannot make the meeting, notes will be placed on our web site a day or two after the meeting. E-mailings will also go out.
This will be a meeting for members only who have signed a commitment letter with the coalition. If you have not turned in a commitment letter you can download a copy at www.columbiacoalition.org or fill one out at the meeting (you will need parcel numbers with you). Any questions about the commitment letter only, please e-mail me: bruce@columbiacoalition.org. If you need to fill out a commitment letter at the high school please come a little early.
I will only be responding for questions at my address at bruce@columbiacoalition.org as time permits.
I will also, in the future only be giving out the password or any information to members that have signed a commitment letter.
Understand this is a closed meeting...no commitment letter, no access, and Luzerne at Luzerne time only!
