For those new to the issues involved in Natural Gas drilling and Leasing, as well as those having the time and interest to do in-depth research. There are many places you can go to educate yourself on gas and oil drilling and leases. The items in blue are live links that will take you there if you click on them.

      Originally this document was intended as a paper handout, and therefore was limited to a single page. Distributing it as an e-mail attachment has proven to be so much more effective that it has been expanded. This update eliminates a number of old broken links that no longer work, modifies some that have been moved or changed, and adds quite a few new ones. Due to the nature of the internet (it is, after all, constructed as a web) it is not uncommon to find that you arrive at the same document by following several different pathways from different websites. I usually bookmark sites I want to go back to and save documents I’m interested in to a subfolder in “My Documents” on the computer. Many of the links included are thanks to e-mails forwarded from George Snyder and Ken Long. All of the links were tested and working at the time of the update.
